This thread is for the posting and documentation of discrimination and acts of persecution that Urians may face in the years ahead. There are blatantly hateful anti-religious and anti-conservative groups and militant secularists in positions of power throughout most Western governments. It is also a truth, that religious people are the most likely to hatefully oppose other religious people. Whenever you encounter discriminations or persecution for your faith, please thoroughly document the incident here (dates, times, places, names, detailed descriptions), so that it might be remembered by future generations. Moreover, it may be good for Urians to compare notes, sharing information for safety's sake. We've chosen a side in the eternal war between God and the Anti or Un, between the angels and the demons; and so we can expect to be targeted by those who despise God and love the Un (Un-God, Un-One, Un-Light, Un-Life, etc).
In future days, we may want to employ such documentation for legal purposes, in order to defend our rights in courts of law.
This is a good idea. It should help us in the future.
For myself, I've been pretty much disowned by my biological family for my views and entire lifestyle. Both my mother and dad are devoutly hypocritical Baptists, and have always thumped the Bible, while never really reading more than the pieces that their pastors suggest, and often living in directly the opposite way to what their beliefs teach. My sister is a proudly superficial materialist, who disavows God and Jesus, but believes in ghosts for some reason. My folks soured me on religion for many years, until I came to see that I was blaming God for what humans do with the gift of free will.
Over the years, neighbors who've overheard us singing to God, or found out about our unusual religious identity, have spread vicious rumors, that we're a Satanic cult, or just a cult in the negative sense of that word. Living in a communal way, we have often found it difficult to rent apartments, and people have always assumed something tawdry about two men living with one woman, even as our neighbors now regard two men living together as a gay relationship. Indeed, people seem incapable of believing that people can love each other without sex being involved.
In that we don't drink, smoke, use drugs, party really -- that we stay to ourselves and don't seek out the opposite sex (it's just not practical or wise in todays day and age), it marks us as odd and a subject of gossip... The gossip can get pretty vicious even.
Anyway, not very specific, just generally what one experiences when living outside the herd habits.
Yet, I can tell you that we are also ever more aware that alphabet agencies are taking an interest in our personal lives, and one of our members experienced this directly while working to help his Mexican wife immigrate (legally) into the United States.
Words, thoughts really, are being criminalized, and any socially conservative and/or Judeo-Christian-rooted religious group, no matter how small, can expect to come up on the governments' radar these days... The only cult that is permitted is C.o.W. and its members and allies have thoroughly infiltrated the media, the corporate world, the educational system, the entertainment industry, and the entire bureaucracy of Western government (as well as Israel and many governments in the Middle East)... Indeed, even many monotheistic sects/denominations have converted to the Cult of Lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:7). It is likely that both government and civilian persecution will increase, even to violent levels, in the years ahead, and already many churches and socially conservative organizations have been targeted for destruction by the forces of the Anti-Spirit.
