I have two friends (they know each other) who are devout Christians (one is a classical Christian, and the other a non-denominational gnostic) and are both in rejection to the aspects of modern secular society. I have told them about the Twenty Laws and the Seven Devotions, but have not yet told them of Urianism itself. One of them (the classical Christian) has expressed sympathies/near-agreements towards my views, and the other (the gnostic Christian) is in agreement with most (if not all) of the practices I had briefly talked about.
However, they both think it to be merely my personal beliefs, not that of an organized religion (Urianism), because I have not told them due to the fact that most Christians (even the most gnostic) are reluctant to take in the teachings of other monotheistic religions. Right now, in Urian structure, they would be considered Rank 1 (Friend of the Way), according to what I've read in the Elyon (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
Is there any way I can convince them to convert to Urianism (or at least become full sympathizers)? Thank you for taking your time to answer. I am looking for a way to start a Urian community in my location, and I would be glad if I knew the correct methods to convert others.
A Small Thing That Can Ad Up:
Trolling for God. 🤣 Been just cruising about the internet, writing little blurbs in comment sections: Urianism opposes Covidianism. An article about torture in Iran, I left the comment, "Urianism is against torture." Animal cruelty article, "Urianism is against animal cruelty." Etc... Just started...
Also:
We are looking into legal recognition of our church, with the IRS (tax exempt status), a necessary step toward gaining a waiver to be able to conduct Lesser Awakening Rituals (aka legal ayahuasca retreats). May or may not work. Rae and I do have an actual chapel, where we daily pray and worship. Would need a few more people perhaps to meet regularly. This county is a red county and the sheriff has opposed the Covid-mandates (not enforcing them), and as such there is greater freedom here than in most of Oregon.
Urians wanting to fellowship can either move to Douglas County Oregon, or move to Carlsbad, New Mexico. There is at least one member in Anaheim California, another in Norway, and a little cabal starting in Florida (I'm told). The goal must be to congregate somewhere, and start having actual meetings. Advertising those meetings, and spreading tracts/fliers.
Ultimately, we would pool resources as a legal church, and found a communal monastery/seminary/retreat center (overseen by council, not by an individual). Until we come off the internet and form up into a congregation, there is little hope of gaining traction.
For me it's not just talking Urian talk but walking the Urian walk.
Not sure how long you (Nephemthemiel) been reading /applied the Elyon 2 devotion and 20 laws etc etc.
I would say start of building that personal relationship with God first ( if you truly haven't)
Where do you stand unto God? Only you can answer that question and you don't have to answer to me (brother/sister Neph .
As for me my intentions not to force anything onto them.
I've actually shared my experience s with others about urianism and specially the Elyon and of course having a fellowship with other fella Urians , we stand stronger and firmer. At same time it is you that once you have a solid relationship with The DeVine One, you'll be able to build strong solid relationship with others...Lead by example the Godly Urian path.
Anyways thanks for sharing your good intentions and efforts for the way.
There's no alarm clock time set for you my d at brother /sister...take a deep breath and take appreciate step's that Nephem needs to take. Each and everyone of us Urians are unique in their own special way.
You are loved 💜

My suggestion is just talk. If you have their attention and good will enough to engage in conversation, then do so. Without labeling yourself outright, just talk. Trust me, they have already labeled you in their mind. They will have you in a nice little mental box. Patience will work. Just share with them, the concepts of the Elyon. Pray before you speak with them and let the Holy Spirit give you the words. At all times remember that your only concern is to be honest and authentic, giving the information as clearly as you can. What they do with it, and how they move forward with their relationship with Spirit is up to them. If the opportunity to present the book as the source presents itself then do not hesitate. Remember what the book tells us to do when being investigated...throw open the doors and hide nothing. Also remember that sharing on this level can lead to alienation and making enemies instead of friends. If your focus is keeping the risk to friendship minimal, then you will most likely never get the chance to count them as a member of your Urian family. With low risk comes low reward.
Since they are listening to you, I`d suggest that you let them read the Elyon. Trust them to make up their own mind. :
Hard to say. We live in a time when everyone is a Google-Genius - that is everyone thinks they have all the answers, because they can do a Google search, and become little know-it-alls as a result. The increase in knowledge (access to it) has created increasing division, and is breaking down social cohesion, making it difficult to find common ground and build unity.
I can send you some of our business cards, which you can just subtly leave lying around, where they might be found, and this can open up questions, or cause people to go look into Urianism on their own. Would also be willing to mail you a couple books, which you could in turn just give them, or leave lying around, or even anonymously mail to your two friends.
There is also the option of just saying, "Hey, why don't we pray and meditate together, once a week, maybe even have a time of praise and worship (sing poems you write to God).
You don't mention your religious beliefs, but merely express the tenets or principles (See: Urian Basics). Together you learn to do the devotions, without ever mentioning your own personal "religious convictions." If asked, you just say, "I'm a Urian (Yur-Rye-Un)," and leave it at that. There is so much information online now that you don't really have to fill in the blanks. Indeed, being mysterious about it, might invoke interest.
I grew up in the 70s-90s, Gen-X, and "cults' were everywhere - which is to say, fringe religious groups, and The West has always been a place where alternative religions/spiritual groups thrived.
Even now there are actually hundreds of communal religio-spiritual groups all over the world, most living quietly, without controversy (you never hear about the cults that work).
I mean, we are a cult. Even The Elyon says this: The Urian Cult. All new or small religious sects are cults. I really like this particular video, as a way to head off those types of accusations.
This has been the major concern I've always run into, in trying to spread Urianism ("It's a cult!").
We live in an area that is full of hard-rightwing libertarian fundamentalist types of people, and it's dangerous to reveal beliefs that stray from the norm here. It is strange, because if you really boil down Urianism, it's socially conservative and basically a form of Judeo-Christian Arianism with a Universal and Gnostic twist. In other words, we can find allot of common ground with conservative religious people, and with mystic or gnostic types - though ironically, conservative religious types and mystical types don't usually like each other much (and we are both -lol).
With religious people -Christians, Jews, Muslims, even sincere committed devotees to any spiritual or religious path- anything outside of their viewpoint is immediately considered either suspect or outright Satanic.
We see this in politics as well, nowadays, where socio-political views are held as if religious dogma - hatefully. And Urianism has that secondary problem of having a political/social viewpoint as well. Neither the religious, social, or political views of Urianism agrees 100% with any other existing group, and these days I've noted so much "all or nothing" thinking. You're either completely in agreement or you're shunned. Suppose even we have some of that - save that, as you say, we have the idea of "Friends of the Way," or allies... We can peacefully agree to disagree, and love each other and work for a common cause anyway.
Sorry to ramble. I type fast and don't talk to many people in real life (so I vent it into the internet).
